1. YOUR ACCOUNT, PASSWORD AND SECURITY
You are responsible for maintaining
the confidentiality of your PUD account number and password. You are completely
responsible for all activities that occur under your password or customer
number. You agree to immediately notify Columbia River PUD of any unauthorized
use of your password or account number or any other breach of security.
2. BILL NOTIFICATION
If you have signed up to receive your bill online,
you will no longer receive a paper bill. Instead, you will receive your bill via
email. You are responsible for notifying Columbia River PUD of any changes to
your email address. Failure to do so may result in late charges.
3. BILLING DISPUTE RESOLUTION
If you have questions about your bill or
dispute any portion of your bill, you should promptly call the Columbia River
PUD at 503-397-1844 during office hours, or visit our office at 64001 Columbia
River Hwy, Deer Island, OR 97054, or send an e-mail to Customer Accounts. Your questions or
concerns about your bill will be reviewed. If the dispute is not resolved, a
billing supervisor will review the bill with you. If after you meet with a
billing supervisor the dispute remains, you have a right to appeal to the Board
of Directors. If the bill is determined to be incorrect, Columbia River PUD will
promptly issue a corrected bill.
4. MODIFICATIONS TO TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE
Columbia River PUD may
change the Conditions of Use for Account Online from time to time. Any changes
to the terms and conditions of service for Account Online will be posted at this
web site and you shall be bound by any modifications to the Conditions Of
Use.
5. TERMINATION
Columbia River PUD may block online access to your account,
if Columbia River PUD determines (a) that you have violated or acted
inconsistently with the Conditions of Use or (b) that you have violated the
rights of Columbia River PUD.
